TTP Attacks In Pakistan: The terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has carried out 16 major attacks on the Pakistani army in the past 24 hours. Several soldiers were killed and several posts and surveillance systems were destroyed in these attacks.
According to sources, the highest number of five attacks occurred in Chitral district. Terrorists attacked Arsoon Cantonment, Lachighai, Mainz Khwar, and SPG Nine Post in the Doros area with missiles and heavy weapons. The army suffered heavy losses in these attacks and destroyed several surveillance systems in the area.
Five similar attacks were also carried out in South Waziristan. TTP terrorists carried out sniper and direct fire attacks on security checkpoints in the Azam Warsak and Zarmelina areas. Several soldiers were killed and surveillance cameras were damaged.
Two attacks occurred in North Waziristan—one in Miran Shah and the other in Mir Ali. Security installations were targeted in both locations, resulting in casualties and financial losses.
The TTP attacked an army post in the Ghaljo area of Orakzai district. After an hours-long encounter, the militants captured the post, burned it, and looted weapons and ammunition.
Furthermore, a sniper attack in the Jandola area of Tank district killed one soldier and destroyed a surveillance camera.
Similar sniper attacks were carried out in Khyber and Bajaur provinces, resulting in the deaths and injuries of several soldiers.
These increasing attacks have alarmed Pakistani security agencies. Experts say that TTP activities have increased rapidly in areas bordering Afghanistan, posing a serious challenge to the Pakistani military.
